We believe that all dogs should be able to live in loving, stable homes where they are a valued member of the family. We believe this is especially true for breeding dogs, as they are our resource for the next generation of beloved pets and service dogs. This is where our Guardian Home Program comes in.
Guardian Families get a “pick of the litter” puppy, adolescent, or adult to become a permanent member of their family, while all breeding rights are retained by Queen B Bullz.
Once your dog’s breeding career has been completed, she will be spayed at our expense, and full ownership will be given to the Guardian Family and the dog will remain your forever pet. Science (and common sense) has shown that happy, secure dogs produce happy, secure puppies. Therefore, it is imperative to us that Guardian Families are very engaged with their dogs and provide an optimal environment.
Guardians are responsible for all “regular” dog care including providing quality food, treats, toys, etc. They are also responsible for normal vet care that is not breeding, or health testing related. The dog must be kept up to date on all shots, flea and tick meds, and heartworm meds at guardian's expense.
Guardians are responsible for all transportation to and from us. If you have a female, then you (Guardian home) will also be responsible for taking her to the vet for an ultrasound if you are not able to bring her for us to take her.
Becoming a guardian home for one of our dogs is a huge commitment and a decision that should not be made lightly. Please keep in mind that we are retain full legal ownership of the dog until they are retired from our program and guardians have a legal obligation to follow the contract. Our dogs are very high quality and have been hand selected to benefit and improve our program further.
Becoming a guardian home is not for everyone! Please consider this commitment carefully.
If the dog is deemed unsuitable for breeding by either us or one of our veterinarians, then the dog will be retired from our program. The dog will be spayed and will reside with your family for the remainder of her life, unless you decide otherwise.
