Frequently Asked Questions

Our waiting lists is used as tool. We use them to track each of our buyer's desired kitten wants, to help ensure we help pair our buyers and kittens properly. We track personalities, growth patterns, coat colors/patterns, genders etc. We want to make sure that buyers aren't just getting the kitten that fits their color/gender preference but also fits their personality/temperament/lifestyle wants and needs.

A deposit is a promise of commitment. Deposits are necessary because we like to ensure that the family who says they want said kitten, truly does. By taking deposits, we ensure that when each kitten is ready to go, they have a pre-approved home waiting for them.

Our deposits are typically $500.00. They are NON-REFUNDABLE, but they are TRANSFERABLE to another current or a future litter.

We reserve the right to retain any kitten for our breeding program, in the furtherance of the Ragdoll breed.

Breeding rights are only given to other breeders who are registered, genetically test their kittens, follow early spay & neuter practices and follow the same ethics we do.

Our pricing is subject to change anytime, for any reason.

2026/2027 Pricing:

Pet homes: $1,500

Breeding rights: $3,000

Retired Cats: $500+

  • Kittens sold in pairs to PET HOMES are discounted by $300 from the total price.

Each of our cats and any kittens produced are genetically tested through Optimal Selection (Wisdom Panel). The results of our adult cats can be found on the “Our Cats" page. Copies of the full DNA panel can be viewed, upon request.

Our cats have all come from Feline Leukemia & Feline AIDS free catteries & are all also negative.

A Cherubim Ragdoll is a designation for traditional Ragdolls with non-traditional coloring, such as mink, solid, and sepia, which became an official breed group under TICA in May 2025. These cats are genetically identical to traditional Ragdolls, sharing the same body type, temperament, and a plush, semi-long coat, but they are distinguished for show purposes by their unique color variations and can compete in Cherubim classes.

Key characteristics of Cherubim Ragdolls

  • Color: They come in a variety of colors, including mink, sepia, and solid, unlike traditional Ragdolls which are typically blue-eyed pointed.
  • Physical traits: They share the same large, muscular build as traditional Ragdolls, with females weighing 10–15 pounds and males weighing 15–20+ pounds. They have a semi-long, plush coat and aqua to medium-blue eyes.
  • Personality: Cherubim Ragdolls are known for the same affectionate, loving, and docile personality that makes the Ragdoll breed famous.
  • Maturity: Like traditional Ragdolls, they are slow to mature, reaching their full size and color by about 3–4 years of age.
  • Recognition: As of May 1, 2025, the International Cat Association (TICA) officially accepted mink, solid, and sepia Ragdolls into the "Cherubim" breed group, allowing them to compete for championship titles.

*At this time, we do NOT have any Cherubim cats or kittens. *

Aside from the fact that ethically and morally, kittens should remain with their mothers until they are a minimum of 12 weeks old; there is plenty of scientific fact to back up the following facts. Breeders who send their kittens to new homes at 8-10 weeks are HIGHLY unethical. Our kittens stay with us until they are a minimum of 12 weeks, but typically no longer than 16 weeks old, giving them ample time to heal from being altered (spayed/neutered). Typically, the only reason we would keep a specific kitten longer is if travel cannot be arranged due to weather, the family is going on vacation or any other unexpected/uncontrollable reasons. We do not charge a fee to hold kittens longer.

Kittens need to stay with their mother until 12 weeks old for crucial physical, social, and emotional development. This extended time allows for full weaning, ensures proper socialization through play and interaction with their mother and siblings, and helps them develop into well-adjusted, resilient adults. Separating them too early can lead to health problems, aggression, anxiety, and poor social skills.

Physical and nutritional needs

  • Complete nutrition: Mother's milk provides essential antibodies and nutrients for an immature immune system, and the weaning process is often not complete until around 8 weeks.
  • Immune support: Staying with their mother ensures kittens receive continued immunity boosts from her milk until their own immune systems are stronger.

Social and behavioral development

  • Social Skills: Kittens learn important social behaviors from their mother and littermates through play, which teaches them how to interact, moderate their behavior, and control their bites.
  • Correcting Behavior: The mother cat corrects kittens for being too rough, helping them learn boundaries and appropriate behavior.
  • Confidence and Fear Reduction: A mother's confident behavior around new things can influence her kittens to be brave and less fearful.

Emotional and cognitive development

  • Emotional Resilience: Spending this time with their mother helps kittens develop healthier attachment patterns, which contributes to lifelong emotional stability.
  • Reduced Stress: Early separation can be stressful for both the mother and the kittens. This can negatively impact their development and lead to long-term physical and emotional health issues.
  • Behavioral Issues: Kittens separated too early may be more prone to issues like anxiety, aggression, fearfulness, and problems with litter box use later in life.

Yes! Each of our kittens are current on their vaccinations before leaving our home. They are given 2 rounds of age-appropriate vaccinations by the time they head to their homes.

We give dewormer to our kittens at 8 & 12 weeks of age, and the vet performs a fecal test at each visit to ensure they are cleared. Each kitten comes with documentation of each shot and each dose of dewormer that’s been given by us & our licensed veterinarian.

We microchip all of our animals and each animal we produce ourselves. The microchip company we use is called Fi Nano & all microchipping information is sent home with the families in their information folders.
